Inspections and Emissions Testing in Sterling, VA

Walkins availabe at Sterling Park Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

Lowes Island testing is by appointment only Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Emissions Testing
Emissions testing is required every two years for vehicles registered in the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Price William and the Cities of Falls Church, Herndon, and Leesburg.

Emission Repair
If a vehicle fails emissions testing, only repairs conducted be a certified emissions repair facility count as a credit against a potential waiver.

Virginia Safety Inspection
Virginia Safety Inspection is required annually on all vehicles register in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
